Holy Tzizzis

Filed under: Blog Torah — Reb Moshe @ 12:13 am

In my meditation tonight, I looked down from outside myself and observed my Tzizzis. As we learn, the Tzizzis are connected to the 613 Commandments of the Torah and are there to protect us. I observed that not only were they protecting me but the wool was shining on white fire along with the strings and the black strips, which were in black fire. They were glowing with the Shechinah which was surrounding me because of this important mitzvah. It helped me realize when we do any mitzvah that uses a physical object that we are commanded to perform, it truly surrounds us with blessings and light. We should appreciate these moments and realize how important they are for our souls.
