A Pleasant Shabbos

November 25th, 2006

tn_smile_penny.gifWhat does everyone think of my new cartoon intro and header. It really looks like me, scary. I never thought I’d have a cartoon of myself. I’m not happy about thr rebbezen part but Moshe told him to do it and it can’t be changed now. I have a lot of work to do to get there!

I had a nice shabbos. I actually made it to shul Friday night and shabbos day. A freind of mine had a bris for her first son after three girls. It was unusually warm here in Tzfat so I walked all day with the kids to tire them out and keep them busy. I was happy because the baby walked most of the way and played a little at the playground. Hope everyone had a nice shabbos. Everyone’s week should be filled with good health, shalom, and bracha. gut voch

can a bris be done on shobbos? bris overrides shobbos? I cant tell if you said that the bris was on shobbos or not. If you say that it was then obviousley the bris overrides, I wont question.

yes, if the bris falls out on shabbos we have the bris but with certain extra stringencies in order to not do any more malachos(work) then needed. An example is the bag the mohel uses for the bris which contains things in it that are muktzah are dropped off before shabbos at the place where the bris will take place and is picked up after shabbos.

I like the cartoon. I take it the paper tossing does not convey “littering” but revising? After all, when we’re blogging, we’re not writing on paper anyway 😉

I like the cartoon too. Clever. I do hope the baby improves more and more day by day as I am sure he will with
G-d’s help. I know your family is under much pressure of late. I continue to pray for you. HaShem has a plan
for us all. Do not lose heart.
