What makes someone fear

Filed under: deep reflections — Reb Moshe @ 4:30 am

Dovid Hamelech said, “My sins are before me”.

Rebbe Nachman says that outside fears stem from a persons sins which have not yet been confessed. If a person does teshuvah, they have no reason to fear anything. When a person is judged above then Hashem allows angels and things of this world try him. They cannot cause him any harm unless he has opened the door for such a trial and allowment of punishment. How does one fall into judgement? By speaking loshon hara.
