Why do I?

Filed under: What can we do? — Reb Moshe @ 5:51 am

I am on such a low madrega, why do I attempt to teach Torah again?

  1. To make what you say more attainable to those on the lower madreigos.

    I spoke to the Ruv this weekend, I told him my opinion that shobbos and the week is not a circular cycle, always begining a new on the same plane, rather, that weeks pass in a spiral motion, always going up. Then the Ruv told the Rebbe what I said, and the Rebbe replied that I was correct, that every shobbos, everyone is lifted on his own madreiga to the next of their madreigos.

    You need shobbos.

  2. Dear Reb Moshe,
    I am so sorry to hear of all your troubles. We all go through trials everywhere. Please hang in there! I know that if I, who am little, can do a few things then you can too! HaShem really does hear our prayers and takes care of us all!

  3. The L-rd supports all those who fall
    He stands erect all those who are bowed over.
    The eyes of all look expectantly to You
    You give them their food in its proper time.
    You open Your hand
    giving contentedness sufficiently to all living beings.

  4. Torah has a time and a place when it is supposed to be told over. Sometimes it isnt in our control what we teach over or speak. It just has to be.

  5. @Asa Yitzhak,
    The Baal HaTanya says something similar about rosh hashanah, Shabbath and every day, if i’m not mistaken..

    @Reb Moshe,
    from what i understand, it is a very high level to be able to honestly say you are on a very low level.. otherwise it’s just pretend humility.
