Videos Stopped/Funding

Filed under: Website Kvetching — Reb Moshe @ 10:09 am

As you see this week, there are no new videos. We no longer have funds to continue them. It was fun while it lasted, thanks for those who supported it. Without a fundraising team in place, and volunteers to do this, I have to start making cut backs on the productions and outreach. If the videos were that valuable to the people, they would have supported them more. There are plenty of fish in the sea, maybe it is someone else’s turn and they can give you more what you want.

  2. There will come a day when your children will thirst for Torah in the way I taught it. At that time, there will be 300 videos waiting for them to bring them close to Hashem. (that is if I can find money to properly do backups)

They will be a generation which will be too busy thirsting for light to think, he is breslov or he is chabad or he is Satmar, but will just want to be inspired.

In about 6months, Banjo Billy and I might consider traveling the globe doing music and stories like Reb Shlomo did, thorugh this I could fundraise. For now, I have to dig my way out of years of kiruv debt. There are also a lot of poor people in tzfat that need me to collect money for them. I’m also going to be reviewing halcaha, mussar, gemarah and zohar so when the time comes, and the support is there, I can make another 200 videos. (For your kids when they grow up)

  4. thank you, Amen! I have been sick in bed most of the week from not teaching Torah. My heart is pretty broken but we have to accept that sometimes Hashem wants us to serve Him in ways that we don’t understand.
