Whats up

Filed under: Website Kvetching — Reb Moshe @ 4:10 am

Today I formatted my refurb 250gig drive which just got back from the states. It was having some technical problems and after 2 hours of troubleshooting i fixed it.

I am backing up now data from C: drive and reformatting. Then loading on new Vista XP so the computer runs cleaner. My other external drive fell after someone tripped on it so I hope I can get the data off. It takes a lot of time and computer power to move hundreds of gigs of space.

tn_smile_penny.gifI removed the animation for now since it was too large. I fired another programmer last night I had hired. It is hard to find good help these days. Did I mention the server was hacked the other day? I should have a temporary launch of the new TorahVideo site in the next couple of days. I had to download new ftp client to transfer the data but first I need to fix the broken external drive to get that data off.

It is not very eventful for me to do this especially when I could be writing new Divrey Torah and making Torah Videos but I have no funds to hire external assistance.

The baby is healing nicely B’H. He wakes up throughout the night still, sometimes 8x, so I am usually on night duty.

That is the lowdown from Tzfat this week.

  1. I am so sorry about all the problems you are having. having fun with the snow? I liked the animation, but it drove me in circles. Hope all goes well.

  2. Reb,

Happy Birthday. Just remember, like your faith, if your challenges were easy then maybe it would lessen the value and meaning. Sometimes difficulties adds value to the things we believe in and reminds us of our meaning in faith. For within every struggle there is always a reason to persevere, but none better than the faith it IS the right thing to do and that you are ultimately capable of doing it.
